Our mission
The main project aim is to develop several courses covering selected subjects in the following areas of ICT: wireless, networks, security and multimedia. Each course consists of two parts: web-based e-learning course and laboratory.
The development of the ICT courses in the project means:
- Development of web-based courses consisting of introduction to the subject, theoretical background, discussion of basic standards and systems, problems to solve, self test.
- Development of the laboratory courses. The laboratory equipment and laboratory experiments will be described in the booklets. Each partner of the project will be able to develop and offer such laboratory.
- Testing and evaluation of the courses (both web-based courses and laboratories) by the project partners.
- Testing of the course participants using appropriate certificate exam questions, in order to check how the course can be applied for certification purposes, and to check the level of understanding the knowledge acquired by the students.
- It will be possible for the project partners to use the courses will not necessarily for certification purposes. For example, the universities can introduce the courses to their curricula, training institutions can offer courses in life long education, ICT companies can use the courses for training their own employees, etc.
- The project assumes also a clear valorisation strategy, i.e. dissemination and exploitation of its results (courses).
